Currently running The Ou Gallery in the Cowichan Valley with my partner Donovan Rose, I have a passion for community arts & participatory media, and have worked internationally with non-profit organizations & communities to facilitate media workshops, create promotional videos and engage with youth through familiar platforms: photography & film.

If you would like to collaborate on something, or have a conversation about the world, I’d love to hear from you!

This site has been a long time procrastinating, so I appreciate you taking the time to be here.

I’ll leave you with this…

It is so easy to say, ‘follow your dreams’ but what does that really mean? For me, it means living a life where you are in constant search of experiences and relationships that reflect value and meaning. It means taking responsibility for your own life. As DuBois says, “as you live, believe in life.” Be true to yourself and your own ambitions. Make your own sacrifices in order to learn and explore. We all make excuses; just make sure that they aren’t getting the best of you. Ensure that you are getting the best from your own life. Life is here; death is here, how do you want to greet them?

It’s important to share your dreams and through that sharing, discover mentors in your life that will inspire and surprise you. I often feel lost, as we all do, but I know that one day, I’ll be fat with the answers of experience.

“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke.” – Hunter S. Thompson
